After reading this you will be able to spend a Page's second-job SP in order from level 30, set AP so your weapon connects, choose a training map for each band up to level 70, and say how Page differs from Fighter and Spearman. The setting is MapleStory Classic World, Nexon's recreation of pre-Big Bang MapleStory inside the Global MapleStory (GMS) client. From here on I call it Classic World.
Assumptions and scope
Every result below assumes a level 30 Page, played solo, with STR as the primary stat and a two-handed blunt weapon. That matches the sample level 70 character in NiaMeowDB, and I cite it wherever the wiki data has no figure. No potion budget is listed anywhere in the data, so where a skill costs MP I give the cost and not a verdict.
- Class facts: per mapleclassic.wiki, Page is a tier 2 job taught in Perion. It uses Sword or Blunt weapon and has STR as its primary stat. It belongs to the Warrior branch, whose first advancement is at level 10 in Perion.
- Level cap: Nexon's release notes give a maximum level of 100, but third job is not available at launch. This guide stops at second-job skills.
- Source labels: wiki numbers say so. Anything marked NiaMeowDB comes from that database and has no wiki figure to check it against.
Every Page skill and what the wiki lists
The wiki table lists eight Page skills. It records max level, MP cost and prerequisites. It has no damage percentage, hit count, target count or element for any of them, so those fields are not listed.
| Skill | Max level | MP cost (wiki) | Requires |
|---|
| Blunt Weapon Mastery | 20 | Not listed | None |
| Blunt Weapon Booster | 20 | 30 to 10 | Blunt Weapon Mastery Lv 5 |
| Final Attack: Blunt Weapon | 30 | Not listed | Blunt Weapon Mastery Lv 3 |
| Sword Mastery | 20 | Not listed | None |
| Sword Booster | 20 | 30 to 10 | Sword Mastery Lv 5 |
| Final Attack: Sword | 30 | Not listed | Sword Mastery Lv 3 |
| Rush | 20 | Not listed | None |
| Threaten | 30 | 10 to 25 | None |
The structure matters before any number does. Page carries two parallel weapon lines, one blunt and one sword, each with its own Mastery, Booster and Final Attack. You commit SP to one line. Rush and Threaten are shared and have no prerequisite. Mastery gates the other two skills in its line, Final Attack at Mastery Lv 3 and Booster at Mastery Lv 5, so Mastery is the first real investment.
What a finished level 70 build looks like
Per NiaMeowDB, a maxed blunt-weapon Page at level 70 has the values below. They fill in what the wiki table leaves blank.
| Skill | SP spent | Result (NiaMeowDB) |
|---|
| Blunt Weapon Mastery | 20 of 20 | Mastery 10 and +20% Critical Damage |
| Final Attack: Blunt Weapon | 30 of 30 | 25% proc rate, 360% damage on one target, 16 MP per use |
| Blunt Weapon Booster | 20 of 20 | Two Attack Speed stages for 300 seconds, 10 HP and 10 MP per cast |
| Threaten | 30 of 30 | Up to 4 mobs lose 35 Speed and 10 WDEF for 30 seconds |
| Rush | 20 of 20 | 150 movement distance, 80% damage, 6 mobs, 15 MP |
| Sword Mastery | 1 of 20 | One spare point; the blunt build gets nothing from it |
Two details deserve a close read. The wiki's Booster cost of 30 to 10 agrees with NiaMeowDB: 30 HP and MP at skill level 1, 10 HP and 10 MP at skill level 20. NiaMeowDB also says one point in Booster already delivers both speed stages, so every later point buys duration and cheaper recasts, not extra speed. It adds that Power Strike and Slash Blast stay your core damage skills, because the third job that would replace them is not in Classic World at launch.
SP build order with reasons
Second-job SP cannot be put into first-job skills, so finish your first-job plan before you advance. Per NiaMeowDB, its first-job endpoint is Power Strike 20, Slash Blast 20, Precise Strikes 15, Improved HP Recovery 3 and Max HP Increase 3. The order below follows NiaMeowDB's allocation, and the reasons are mine, checked against the wiki prerequisites above.
| Level | Spend | Running total | Reason |
|---|
| 30 | Rush +1 | Rush 1 | Rush has no prerequisite, so the first point can go there |
| 31 | Blunt Weapon Mastery +3 | Mastery 3 | Meets the Final Attack prerequisite |
| 32 | Mastery +2, Booster +1 | Mastery 5, Booster 1 | Mastery 5 meets the Booster prerequisite |
| 33 | Threaten +1, Mastery +2 | Threaten 1, Mastery 7 | One cheap debuff point while Mastery climbs |
| 34 to 37 | Mastery +12 | Mastery 19 | Raises your damage floor and critical damage |
| 38 | Mastery +1, Final Attack +2 | Mastery 20, Final Attack 2 | Mastery is complete |
| 39 to 47 | Final Attack +27 | Final Attack 29 | Builds the follow-up hit |
| 48 | Final Attack +1, Threaten +2 | Final Attack 30, Threaten 3 | Final Attack is complete |
| 49 to 57 | Threaten +27 | Threaten 30 | Full slow, WDEF debuff, duration and target count |
| 58 | Booster +3 | Booster 4 | Starts extending uptime |
| 59 to 63 | Booster +15 | Booster 19 | Longer duration, cheaper recasts |
| 64 | Booster +1, Rush +2 | Booster 20, Rush 3 | Booster is complete |
| 65 to 69 | Rush +15 | Rush 18 | More distance, damage and MP efficiency |
| 70 | Rush +2, Sword Mastery +1 | Rush 20, Sword Mastery 1 | Max Rush and park the leftover point |
The logic is damage first. Mastery comes first because it unlocks the two skills behind it. Final Attack comes next because it is the largest single damage line in the build. Threaten only gets its full investment from level 49 to 57, after the damage skills are done, and Rush sits at 1 point for 30 levels before it is raised. Per NiaMeowDB, Rush 1 costs 35 MP, pushes up to 6 mobs, and reaches 150 movement distance at skill level 10. Spend it when pulling mobs together saves more time than the MP costs. If movement matters more to you than Final Attack, move points into Rush before level 64.
Sword alternative: a sword Page swaps each blunt skill for its counterpart and keeps the same milestones: Sword Mastery Lv 3 unlocks Final Attack: Sword and Lv 5 unlocks Sword Booster, per the wiki. NiaMeowDB adds that blunt has the clearer upgrade at level 40, because Weaponcrafting offers Titan at skill level 8 and its catalog shows no matching sword recipe at that level.
AP, weapons and accuracy
Per NiaMeowDB, give your weapon the DEX it requires, count any DEX your gear already supplies, and send every remaining point to STR. Its sample starts at level 30 with 135 base STR and 27 base DEX.
| Levels | AP each level | Base stats at the end |
|---|
| 31 to 36 | STR +3, DEX +2 | 153 STR, 39 DEX |
| 37 to 57 | STR +4, DEX +1 | 237 STR, 60 DEX |
| 58 to 70 | STR +5 | 302 STR, 60 DEX |
The first row checks out: 27 base DEX plus 2 DEX for each of 6 levels is 39. Per NiaMeowDB, the sample's equipment adds the final 10 DEX for the Gigantic Sledge, which gives 70 DEX at level 70 with gear.
| Level | Two-handed blunt (NiaMeowDB) | W.ATK | Attack Speed |
|---|
| 30 | Mithril Maul | 52 | 6 |
| 35 | Sledgehammer | 60 | 7 |
| 40 | Titan | 65 | 7 |
| 50 | Golden Mole | 75 | 7 |
| 70 | Gigantic Sledge | 95 | 7 |
Before you swap a weapon you have already scrolled, weigh the scroll cost against the Free Market price. Accuracy decides whether any of these weapons connect. Per NiaMeowDB, the figures below hold when the mob is your own level, and a higher-level mob demands more ACC.
| Mob | Mob level | Avoidability | ACC for 90% hit | ACC for 100% hit |
|---|
| Jr. Wraith | 34 | 25 | 78 | 82 |
| Wraith | 48 | 32 | 100 | 104 |
| Croco | 52 | 31 | 97 | 101 |
Here is why this matters at level 30. NiaMeowDB's sample reaches 73 ACC with its gear. Against Jr. Wraith, that is 5 short of the 78 ACC for a 90% hit rate (78 minus 73) and 9 short of the 82 ACC for a guaranteed hit (82 minus 73). The level 50 sample reaches 121 ACC and the level 70 sample 140 ACC, both with gear, which clears the 104 and 101 ACC figures for Wraith and Croco.
Where to train, by level band
Our ranking sorts monsters by EXP per HP point, from the mapleclassic.wiki monster table. It shows how much EXP each point of damage buys, which suits a build that kills in few hits. It is not EXP per hour, because kill speed and respawn timing are not in the data.
| Rank | Monster | Level | HP | EXP per kill | EXP per HP | Weak to | Largest listed count |
|---|
| 1 | Fairy 3 | 29 | 593 | 54 | 0.091 | Poison | Tree Dungeon, Forest Up North VI (2) |
| 2 | Fairy 1 | 29 | 593 | 54 | 0.091 | Poison | Cloud Park IV (2) |
| 3 | Fairy 4 | 29 | 593 | 54 | 0.091 | Poison | The Breathing Rock (2) |
| 4 | Fairy 2 | 29 | 593 | 54 | 0.091 | Poison | Someone Else's House (2) |
| 5 | Iron Hog | 28 | 572 | 52 | 0.091 | Lightning | Pig Park II (22) |
| 6 | Evil Eye | 27 | 606 | 50 | 0.083 | None listed | The Cave of Evil Eye III (38) |
| 7 | Golden Stirge | 42 | 1278 | 93 | 0.073 | None listed | Decayed Tunnel II (4) |
| 8 | Fire Boar | 32 | 842 | 60 | 0.071 | Ice | The Burnt Land V (26) |
| 9 | Ligator | 31 | 853 | 58 | 0.068 | Fire | The Swamp of Despair I (41) |
| 10 | Jr. Wraith | 34 | 982 | 66 | 0.067 | Fire, Holy | Line 2 (Area 1) (83) |
Two cautions apply. First, ranks 1 to 6 are monsters at level 27 to 29, below the level 30 you start at, so they are a cheap opening and not a long-term plan. Second, a good ratio can sit on a monster with few spawns. Golden Stirge pays 93 EXP per kill, the most in the table, but its largest listed count is 4 on Decayed Tunnel II, against 38 Evil Eyes on The Cave of Evil Eye III. Where you farm is a trade between payout per kill and how many targets stand in front of you.
NiaMeowDB's Training Advisor supplies the other half, hits per kill. Its maps assume a 100% hit rate and a kill in two Power Strikes or fewer, using your weakest possible hit. For levels 40 to 44 it names Ant Tunnel Park and Deep Ant Tunnel II, where Evil Eye dies in 2 hits; our table lists 31 Evil Eyes on Ant Tunnel Park. For levels 45 to 49 the same maps hold, with Evil Eye dying in 1 hit. For levels 50 to 54 it names The Burnt Land I and The Burnt Land III, and says The Burnt Land I wins once danger is counted. The wiki lists 18 Fire Boars on The Burnt Land I and 24 on The Burnt Land III.
At the level 50 sample, per NiaMeowDB, Fire Boar is a guaranteed 1-hit worth 60 EXP per hit, and Ligator a guaranteed 1-hit worth 58 EXP per hit. Both match the per-kill EXP in our table. For levels 55 to 70, NiaMeowDB names maps in families I have not cross-checked against our data. Nexon says Forgotten Hollow is closed during Founder's Access, so confirm a map is reachable before planning around it.
Threaten and Jr. Balrog
Threaten is the skill most Page builds underrate. Its MP cost rises from 10 at skill level 1 to 25 at max, per the wiki. Per NiaMeowDB, skill level 1 applies minus 5 Speed and minus 2 WDEF for 15 seconds, while max level applies minus 35 Speed and minus 10 WDEF for 30 seconds on up to 4 mobs. Its reach is 500 by 100 px at skill levels 1 to 15 and 600 by 100 px from skill level 16.
Jr. Balrog is one of the five bosses Nexon lists for Founder's Access. Per NiaMeowDB it is level 80 with 325,400 HP and 15 WDEF, and max Threaten lowers that WDEF from 15 to 5. The data does not say how much damage that adds, so I am not putting a number on it.
How Page differs from Fighter and Spearman
All three Warrior second jobs unlock at level 30 and use STR. Page is the only one of the three in our data with two separate weapon skill lines, one Sword and one Blunt weapon. In practice the line you do not use is dead SP, which is why NiaMeowDB parks exactly 1 point in Sword Mastery on its blunt build.
The fact sheet has no skill numbers for Fighter or Spearman, so I will not claim a damage or MP comparison. For head-to-head figures, see our earlier Second Job Attack Skills Compared and Fighter Skill Build and Training guides. What the data does support is the question to ask: Page spends SP on a debuff (Threaten) and a movement skill (Rush), and NiaMeowDB rates its damage per point of MP at level 70 as excellent. Whether that beats a sibling at your level depends on figures we do not have.
What the data does not tell us
- No drop rates for any monster in the ranking.
- No respawn timers and no EXP per hour; only EXP per kill and per HP.
- No damage percentage, hit count or element for any Page skill in the wiki table; the Final Attack, Rush and Threaten figures are NiaMeowDB's.
- No Fighter or Spearman skill values to compare against.
- No confirmation that every map in NiaMeowDB's 55 to 70 bands is reachable in Founder's Access.

Frequently asked
- What is the best SP order for a Page at level 30?
- At level 30 as a blunt-weapon Page, per NiaMeowDB: Rush 1 first, then Blunt Weapon Mastery to 20 by level 38, Final Attack: Blunt Weapon to 30 by level 48, Threaten to 30 by level 57, Booster to 20 by level 64, and Rush to 20 by level 70.
- Should a Page use a sword or a blunt weapon?
- The wiki lets Page use either. NiaMeowDB's sample build is blunt, and it notes that Weaponcrafting offers Titan at skill level 8 for a level 40 blunt upgrade, with no matching sword recipe in its catalog.
- What does Threaten do for a Page?
- Per NiaMeowDB, at max level Threaten costs 25 MP and makes up to 4 mobs lose 35 Speed and 10 WDEF for 30 seconds. At skill level 1 it costs 10 MP and applies minus 5 Speed and minus 2 WDEF for 15 seconds.
- Where should a Page train at levels 30 to 40?
- Our EXP per HP ranking puts Fire Boar (level 32, 60 EXP per kill) and Jr. Wraith (level 34, 66 EXP per kill) in this range. NiaMeowDB's level 30 to 34 picks include Line 1 (Area 1), while its 40 to 44 picks are Ant Tunnel Park and Deep Ant Tunnel II.
- Can a Page get third job in Classic World?
- No. Per mapleclassic.wiki, third job advancement is not available at launch, so a Page's skills end at the second-job set listed above.
