HP tells you how long the fight is; EXP tells you whether it is worth doing on repeat. Level is the honest guide to when you can hit the boss reliably: fight more than a few levels below and accuracy becomes the problem, not damage. Each boss page lists its spawn maps, its drops and which classes get bonus damage from its elemental weaknesses.

Mano at level 20 is the first boss most characters can take on; King Slime at 32 is the next step. Mushmom at 40 is the first one that needs a plan.
