The MapleStory Classic World roadmap was shown at MapleStory Fest on Saturday, October 17, 2026. Nexon had not published a written version on its news page as of October 18, 2026. This article draws on community summaries of the panel and on NiaMeowDB's report of the same session, which gives the same November 18 and December 9 dates. Treat every date below as an announced plan that can move.

Grand Launch: October 21, 2026
Nexon's FAQ puts Grand Launch at 11:00 AM PDT on October 21, 2026. The roadmap summaries list these items for that day:
- Housing launches.
- The Acquire Mark of Beta event. Nexon's Founder's Access release notes also say the Mark of Beta event begins at Grand Launch.
- The Inkwell's Gift event.
- Halloween events, starting October 28.
Further launch events have not been announced.
November 18, 2026 update
The summaries list the following for this update:
- Forgotten Hollow opens, for level 39 and up. It is closed during Founder's Access. Nexon's release notes said the path there would be added later. Rotten Mushmom lives there.
- Moon Bunny's Rice party quest, for level 11 and up.
- Thanksgiving events.
- A teased quest line tied to the lore of Manji and the Night Lord. No details have been given.
December 9, 2026 update
- The Forgotten Hollow party quest, for level 41 and up.
- Guilds launch, with a Guild HQ in Lith Harbor.
- Happyville, the Christmas town area.
- Christmas events.
2027
The roadmap summaries list three items for 2027. The first is a boss raid. The second is a teased Orbis ship. Orbis and the rest of Ossyria are held back at launch, so the tease does not make them playable. The third is a test server for third job advancement. Third job is not in Classic World at launch. Per the summaries, it reaches a test server first, not the live game.
The guild question
There is a conflict in the sources, and we are not resolving it. Nexon's Founder's Access release notes list guilds among the systems in the game. The roadmap summaries put "Guilds launch" with a Guild HQ in Lith Harbor on December 9. The summaries do not say whether guilds are unusable until then. They also do not say whether the full feature set and the headquarters are what arrive in December. Both readings are possible. Nexon has not clarified.
Party quests
Only the Kerning City Party Quest, for level 21 and up, is in the game at launch. Moon Bunny's Rice and the Forgotten Hollow party quest are the next two on the roadmap. Ludibrium's and Orbis's party quests remain held back.
What it changes this week
For a player logging in on October 21, 2026, nothing on the November and December lists is playable yet. Housing and the Mark of Beta event are the launch items. Forgotten Hollow and its party quest are the first new areas after launch. Guild plans are the least certain item until Nexon publishes its own version of the roadmap.
