Main point: a Halloween headline, nothing official yet
A news outlet ran a headline on October 26 reading "MapleStory Classic World Halloween 2026: 100 Candies, Trick or Treat Quest and Pumpkin Basket". That is the only new item on October 27. This briefing reports the headline only. It does not say what the article contains.
Confirmed: the headline exists and names a Halloween 2026 theme for MapleStory Classic World. Not confirmed here: start dates, end dates, rewards, quest steps or requirements. No Nexon post on a Halloween event is in the facts for this briefing. Check Nexon's official channels for dates before you plan around it.
Where the game stands
This is day 7 since Grand Launch. Nexon opened MapleStory Classic World to everyone on October 21, 2026 at 11:00 AM PDT (6:00 PM UTC). No Founder's Package was needed. Founder's Access had opened on October 6, 2026, and Nexon says progress carries into Grand Launch.
No new patch or maintenance notice is on record for October 27. The most recent change on record is the unscheduled maintenance of October 22.
Recent changes, in order
October 22: the wiki records an unscheduled maintenance the day after Grand Launch. It added the Debt System against real money trading, worked on server stability and fixed two bugs.
October 21: the wiki lists Grand Launch at version 1.0.0. It records Housing in Henesys and Kerning City, the Excavation Site in Perion, The Murky Swamp II, the boss Stumpy and launch events. It also lists stronger Swordsman and Magician recovery and Iron Body.
October 15: the wiki records a minor patch. It added Korean as a display language, placed the Maple Administrator in Kerning City, reshaped Kerning City around its Civic Center and fixed over twenty bugs. Among them were several disconnects and Steal working on missed attacks.
October 8: the wiki records an unscheduled maintenance. It cut the price shops pay for Coconut, fixed two problems with the Cleric skill Heal and restored access to channels 1 to 4.
These entries come from mapleclassic.wiki, which is community documentation. They describe what editors recorded. Nexon's own notes remain the authority on dates and policy.
What to check today
Watch Nexon's official posts for any Halloween notice before assuming dates or rewards.
If you are still leveling, the new guide Classic World Leveling Route: Levels 1 to 60 is on this site, with a mesos guide alongside it.
Content Nexon has held back is not part of launch. That includes 3rd job, 4th job and Ossyria. Nothing in the facts changes that.
The next briefing will cover any Nexon post or patch that appears.
