Classic World's Free Market is four days old, and prices are settling fast. A snapshot of the market on October 10 shows 565 items, 5,504 open listings and 2,033 completed sales. The full table, searchable and sortable, is on our Free Market prices page. Here is what the numbers say.
Price by what sells, not what is listed
The single most useful finding: asking prices run high. Of the 126 items with at least five recorded sales, 118 sold below their median asking price, and the typical listing sat about 40% above the typical sale. If you are pricing something to sell, look at the sold median, not the other listings.
| Item | Median asking price | Median sale | Sales |
| Aquamarine Ore | 1,149 | 531 | 24 |
| Diamond Ore | 999 | 488 | 17 |
| Hat Accuracy Scroll: Greater | 7,250 | 3,499 | 10 |
| Earring LUK Scroll: Intermediate | 49,999 | 25,000 | 11 |
| Angel Halo | 49,000 | 20,999 | 8 |
A handful of items sell at or above the asking price, which usually means sellers are pricing them too low: Stiff Feather (199 asked, 199 sold, 21 sales), Dark Master Sergeant (4,999 and 4,999), Mithril Pole Arm (18,444 asked, 18,888 sold) and Ryden (20,500 asked, 22,888 sold).
Ore is the busiest market
Ores and gems account for 406 of the 2,033 sales. Iron Ore is the most traded item in the snapshot, with 73 sales, even though only 40 are listed.
| Ore | Sales | Median sale | Listings | Median asking price |
| Iron Ore | 73 | 380 | 40 | 553 |
| Bronze Ore | 45 | 199 | 165 | 250 |
| Mithril Ore | 39 | 302 | 38 | 400 |
| Garnet Ore | 27 | 1,222 | 87 | 1,499 |
| Aquamarine Ore | 24 | 531 | 18 | 1,149 |
| Sapphire Ore | 23 | 300 | 36 | 499 |
| Emerald Ore | 22 | 299 | 58 | 499 |
| Silver Ore | 20 | 200 | 136 | 299 |
The supply picture is lopsided. Bronze Ore (165 listings), Silver Ore (136), Orihalcon Ore (99, only 9 sales) and Gold Ore (79, 10 sales) are piling up, so expect those prices to keep sliding. Refined metal sells for more: Iron Ingot went for a median 1,449 mesos across 16 sales and Bronze Ingot for 999, against 380 and 199 for the ores.
Hat Accuracy scrolls are the most traded scrolls, and the earring stat scrolls carry the money.
- Hat Accuracy Scroll: Intermediate: 16 sales, median 5,778 mesos.
- Hat Accuracy Scroll: Greater: 10 sales, median 3,499; Lesser: 8 sales, median 3,167.
- Earring INT, STR and LUK Scrolls: Intermediate: roughly 25,000 mesos each (24,722, 25,000 and 25,000), 30 sales between them.
- Polearm Attack Scroll: Intermediate: 10 sales at a median 29,999.
- Claw Attack Scroll: Intermediate is the priciest scroll that sold: three sales at a median 79,999.
Equipment and the Cash Shop
Outside ore, the busiest item is the Selective 5-slot Coupon: 49 sales at a median 12,499 mesos, against a median asking price of 19,999. Cash Shop cosmetics trade heavily overall: Kitty Chat Ring (17 sales, 6,666), Gold Kitty Slippers (19 sales, 7,999) and Rainbow Knit (20 sales, 4,999).
For gear, Work Gloves lead with 27 sales at 2,100. Pan Lid is the dearest piece that trades regularly, 13 sales at a median 35,000, and Cherub's Bow sold 14 times at a median 10,499.
The biggest single sales in the snapshot were an Ink-and-Wash Thought Bubble Ring at 499,999 mesos and a Starlight Heart Scepter at 299,999. Black Cat Beanie sold three times at a median 125,000.
Drops worth picking up, and drops that are not moving
Leather is the most traded monster drop, with 39 sales at a median 199, and Stiff Feather sells at its asking price of 199. Pig's Head also sells at 199 (18 sales), but 81 are listed, so there is plenty of competition. Tree Branch, Firewood and Leaf sell for 20 to 30 mesos each.
Some listings are not selling at all: Squishy Liquid has 33 listings and no sales, White Bandana has 23 and none, and Evil Eye Tail has 10 and none. Don't spend inventory space hauling those to the market.
How to use these prices
- Look up the item on our Free Market prices page and read the sold median.
- To sell quickly, list at or a little under the sold median. Listing at the asking median usually means waiting.
- Check the listing count. When an item has many more listings than sales, like Bronze or Silver Ore, the price is more likely to fall than rise.
- Treat thinly traded items (one or two sales) as a rough guide only.
This is a single snapshot from the first week of Founder's Access, and prices move quickly this early. The market page now shows live prices and daily history.
