MapleStory Classic World Route Planner: Map to Map Directions

Type where you are and where you want to train. The planner returns the route with the fewest map changes, walks you portal by portal with the direction to head, flags the hidden portals, and tells you when a cab or Phil's boat saves enough maps to be worth the fare. If the quickest way costs mesos it also shows the free walk.

It covers Maple Island, Victoria Island and the Hidden Street maps the wiki has mapped. Party quest stages, job-advancement test rooms and the closed Forgotten Hollow area are entered through NPCs, so they do not appear as destinations.

Cab and ride fares

Fares observed in Founder's Access and recorded on mapleclassic.wiki. Regular Cab fares double from level 20 except to Sleepywood; Phil's rides out of Lith Harbor are halved from level 10 to 19. Ellinia's cab has not been recorded yet, so the planner estimates it from the other towns.

Frequently asked

How do I get to Sleepywood in MapleStory Classic World?

The quickest way is the Regular Cab from Henesys, Ellinia, Perion or Kerning City for 2,500 mesos; this fare does not double at level 20. On foot, walk south from Henesys through the Hill East of Henesys and the Road to the Dungeon, about six maps.

How much does the Regular Cab cost?

Between the main Victoria Island towns it is 400 to 600 mesos below level 20 and double that from level 20, per the fares observed on mapleclassic.wiki. Sleepywood is 2,500 mesos at any level. Henesys residents have been seen getting a small citizenship discount.

What is a hidden portal?

A portal that does not show on the minimap: usually at the top of a rope or ladder, behind a sign or in a gap in the scenery. Press the up arrow where the route says to. The planner numbers these steps in orange so you know to look for them.

Why is there no route to a map I can see on the site?

Three reasons: the map is in Forgotten Hollow or Ossyria, which are closed at launch; it is a party quest or job test room entered by talking to an NPC; or the wiki has not recorded that map's portals yet. The map's own page still lists its nearest town.

Does the planner know about the Kerning City subway?

Yes. The Line 3 trains from the Subway Ticketing Booth to the B1, B2 and B3 construction sites are in the route data, as are the Florina Beach boat from Lith Harbor and the Forest of Patience entrances.
